DESCRIPTION

The Dooly’s Inc. Marketing Department aims to appeal to our existing customers while drawing the attention of potential new ones. This position is ideal for someone who is well-rounded in their design skills; they will be expected to design various promotional materials, logos, brochures, social media content, website elements and more that fit the Dooly’s brand and style. 

This person must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work on multiple projects at once. Flexibility is expected while artwork goes through an approval and revision processes to ensure the best possible design goes to production. A creative mindset is required to turn a simple job brief into an attractive and functional piece that clearly conveys the intended message.

This position includes a monthly billing process, in-house print production of local artwork, and social media posting and monitoring. There is also an opportunity to help select and brand various merchandise for promotions throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in graphics (freelance/agency/other)

  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Suite on MacOS, including:
    Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat

  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to consistently & methodically meet assigned deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and reading comprehension.

  • Ability to adapt design style to fit our brand and appeal to our audience.

  • Strong language skills.

  • Experience using Squarespace is considered an asset.

  • Some print production experience is considered an asset.
